The Way I See It…
Since 2011, I have been photographing the historic Kokernot o6 Ranch. The majestic scenery, cowboys, cattle, horses and wildlife will take you back to a time not many can imagine

A Texas native with a creative pioneer spirit is who I am. Originally a Barton but added to my last name, LeBlanc, in 1996 when I married the love of my life.
This site was created to show some of my photographs that I have taken of the Kokernot o6 Ranch. Here you will find photos from 2011 – 2021 of the ranch, cattle, horses, the family and the cowboys. This type of ranching with cowboys gathering cattle on horseback, branding, camping in tepee tents under a blanket of stars, on-site chuckwagon meals, etc. is fading away at a far faster pace than I like. Before you know it, this type of working cattle ranch will be gone forever. Most ranches today roundup with aircraft, vehicles and dogs.
Being up in the high country, waiting for the cowboys to round the mountains edge with a herd of cattle, is like stepping into an old western movie. The sounds of the wind, wildlife, cattle and the remuda will touch your soul.
These photographs will take you to a place in time worth experiencing.
We can’t bring back the past so therefore I document with my camera. From Texas to Europe…. that’s where you will find me.
